SEASON PREVIEW: UPEI Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers look for championship breakthrough
As the UPEI Panthers Men鈥檚 Basketball team gears up for another exciting season, their goal is to make it to the finals, and there鈥檚 more than enough talent on the roster to usher in a new era of success.
With the departure of point guard Elijah Miller, the reigning Atlantic University Sport (AUS) MVP and two-time all-Canadian, the reins have now been handed to fourth-year guard Kamari Scott, who has been with the team the longest and is prepared to lead them forward.

We have great news! The English Corner is for you! We provide language support and practice for any EAL student at UPEI. No appointment is needed. Just drop in with your questions. We鈥檙e in Robertson Library, Room 213, from 9 am to 12 pm on Thursdays.
Maritime Brass Quintet to perform at UPEI on November 2
The UPEI Department of Music will present the Maritime Brass Quintet on Thursday, November 2, at 7:30 pm, at UPEI鈥檚 new Performing Arts Centre.
This performance will feature music spanning five centuries, including airs and dances by Renaissance composer Anthony Holborne, Victor Ewald鈥檚 Brass Quintet No. 1, an arrangement of Gustav Holst鈥檚 Second Suite in F (originally for wind ensemble), Canadian composer Morley Calvert鈥檚 Three Dance Impressions, Bj枚rk鈥檚 Overture from 鈥淒ancer in the Dark鈥 and more.

2 weeks prior to departure - Packing time!
Begin planning your packing!
- Clothes, shoes, jackets, etc.
- Paperwork (passports, visas).
- It鈥檚 a good idea to take photos of any important documents before you leave in case anything gets lost.
1 month prior to departure - Final review!
Consider any last-minute questions you might have before you go.
Double-check your UPEI and partner university paperwork are good to go, and ensure your passports/visas are in order!
2 months prior to departure - Flights and courses!
Organize your flights and travel plans! You will book and pay for flights independently. We recommend you always purchase cancellation insurance!
Ensure your courses are picked and approved so they will be transferred back to UPEI.
