Community engagement event in Georgetown on October 18 about net zero project
Residents of Georgetown, PEI, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in a community engagement event about the Georgetown net zero project on Wednesday, October 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Georgetown Elementary School.
The event is hosted by the UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering鈥擣uture Urban Energy Lab for Sustainability (FUEL-S), the Government of Prince Edward Island, and the UPEI Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation.

UPEI appoints new dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Dominique Griffon has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the 91福利在线你懂的 for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2024.

Emily Duffy and Joe Ranger named UPEI Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The UPEI Panther Athletes of the Week for October 2鈥8 are Emily Duffy (women鈥檚 rugby) and Joe Ranger (men鈥檚 hockey).
Women鈥檚 rugby prop Emily Duffy is a fourth-year kinesiology student from Saint John, New Brunswick. She showed off her strength and powered her way to two tries in a critical 31-29 win over the Acadia University Axewomen on October 6. The win secured a home playoff game for the Panthers.
