The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 91福利在线你懂的 hosted its annual Fall Awards and Recognition night on Wednesday, November 9 in the McCain Foundation Learning Commons.

One of the leading thinkers in global citizenship education has published a new book that shares decades of teaching experience. Dr. Linyuan Guo-Brennan, a professor at the 91福利在线你懂的 (UPEI), is the author of Education for Global Citizenship and Sustainability: From Theory to Practice. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 91福利在线你懂的 recently awarded Dr. Marina (Nina) von Keyserlingk with the 2022 R.G. Thomson Lecture.

The 91福利在线你懂的 community is saddened to learn of the passing of UPEI Founder and retired faculty member Don MacCormac on November 7, 2022. Campus flags have been lowered to half-mast. 

UPEI honours its rich heritage and traditions by acknowledging members of the campus community who have contributed to its mission in an exceptional way by naming them 鈥淔ounders,鈥� an initiative established by President Emeritus Wade MacLauchlan in 2000.

In a message to students, staff, and faculty, President Keefe encourages community members to honour, pay tribute, give thank, and remember the brave men and women who served鈥攁nd who continue to serve鈥攐ur country during times of war, conflict, and peace.

UPEI received notice on November 7, 2022, from the government-appointed conciliator that conciliation meetings between UPEI and the UPEI FA will resume November 23.

Noa Mendelsohn Aviv, executive director and general counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), will present the 2022 Chief Justice Thane A. Campbell Lectureship in Law on Thursday, November 17, at 12 noon, at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel in Charlottetown.
