UPEI is hosting a free Japanese Film Festival, presented by the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal and the Japan Foundation, in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 242, on Friday, September 29, from 5:30 to 10:30 pm.

UPEI Writer-in-Residence Harry Thurston, an award-winning poet, naturalist, and globe-travelling journalist, will give the 2023 UPEI Don Mazer Arts & Science Lecture at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 3, in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 248, at UPEI.

Students participating in the Atlantic Veterinary College’s 2023 Summer Research Leadership Program presented their posters to faculty, staff, and students on August 31.

Starting this semester, all new 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄ㶮µÄ students are required to complete a mandatory non-credit course, Preventing Sexual Violence at UPEI. While the course is a graduation requirement for students starting programs in the Fall of 2023, all other UPEI students are encouraged to complete it and earn a badge on a voluntary basis.

The UPEI Panther teams are looking forward to a full weekend of events at home and away throughout UPEI Homecoming Week.

Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. UPEI Panther Athletes of the Week for September 11–18 are Wendy Dadzie (women’s soccer) and Evan Couturier (men’s soccer).

September 18 to 24 is UPEI Homecoming Week, featuring an exciting line-up of activities and events!

The UPEI campus community and members of the public are invited to attend the official grand opening of the new 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄ㶮µÄ Performing Arts Centre and the revitalized Dr. Steel Recital Hall on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 1:30–3:30 pm.
