UPEI is proud to host the 2012 Canadian Science Fair. For more information check out During the Convocation and Canadian Wide Science Fair the indoor walking track will be closed from 5 pm Friday the 11 straight through to 6 am Friday, May 18th. Outdoor track facilities and treadmills will be available.

Learn 2 Run & Continue 2 Run

Have you always wanted to 鈥淟earn to Run鈥, or have recently learned and would like a program to continue running this spring? go!pei in partnership with UPEI Athletics and Recreation is offering a 10 week L2R 5K and Continue 2 Run program at the Alumni Canada Games outdoor track! START DATE: Wednesday April 18, 2012 TIME: 6:30pm LOCATION: UPEI Outdoor Track (meet on track) These are FREE programs for all! Brief overview of Learn 2 Run program: - 10 鈥 week beginner program (walk 鈥 to 鈥 run 5K) - The group meets once per week with a leader, and you will continue the program 2-3 days on your own - Education sessions will be included every week where you will learn tips on proper equipment/footwear, breathing and nutrition - A 10-week running guide will be provided - Free snacks and prizes included! UPEI/CMS Math Camp 2012

Math Camp is organized by the Dept of Mathematics and Statistics, and co-sponsored by the Canadian Mathematical Society. The annual event will welcome a group of 20 students in grades 10-11 coming from 10 high schools in the province. The camp offers faculty sessions on various mathematical topics, problem-solving competitions including math relays, as well as some recreational activities in the evenings.
