SEASON PREVIEW: UPEI Cross Country Panthers eye breakthrough year

The UPEI Cross Country Panthers are confident that 2024 could be their breakthrough year as they look to establish themselves among the top programs in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference. They will compete at the Acadia University Invitational in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, on September 7 to kick off their season. The women鈥檚 team competes at 12:00 pm and the men鈥檚 at 1:00 pm.

Playing Lean 2 positions players as rival startups in the same sector, and participants must work their way through market discovery, product development, and sales to become the Nike, Apple, or Amazon of their industry!

SDU Board of Governors makes significant donation to UPEI鈥檚 Robertson Library revitalization campaign

The 91福利在线你懂的 is pleased to announce that the Saint Dunstan鈥檚 University (SDU) Board of Governors has donated $1,050,000 to the Robertson Library鈥檚 $15-million 鈥淟ove Our Library鈥 revitalization campaign.

In recognition of this generous donation, the high-traffic foyer within the Library will be named in honour of SDU, a predecessor to UPEI.

UPEI鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation Open House

UPEI鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA) in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay will host a public Open House on September 13, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

Members of the public are invited to tour the 45,000-square-foot facility, which houses the UPEI School of Climate Change and Adaptation, the UPEI Climate Lab, and state-of-the-art research centres of excellence, including the Centre of Excellence in Food Security and Sustainability.

What brought you to UPEI? Why did you choose to study here?

I was born in Kawasaki, Japan and moved to Prince Edward Island when I was eight years old. I鈥檝e lived in Charlottetown ever since, so I became very familiar with the campus, the sport teams, and events even before I started to apply to universities. I remember going to the haunted mansion that the UPEI music program had put on and I remember being petrified in the best way by the end.
