Dr. Wendy Rodgers has been appointed by the UPEI Board of Governors as the seventh President and Vice-Chancellor after a comprehensive 12-month search. She will assume the role on June 1, 2024.

The following message from the Chair of the UPEI Board of Governors, announcing the president-designate, was emailed to students, staff, and faculty on May 6, 2024.

Dr. Lesley Steele, a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 91福利在线你懂的 (UPEI), is the winner of the College鈥檚 2023 Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care.

Canadian criminal defence lawyer James Lockyer, CM, will speak about wrongful convictions in Canada during the Chief Justice Thane A. Campbell Lectureship in Law presentation on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at The Guild, 111 Queen Street, Charlottetown, at 4:30 pm.
