The UPEI Hockey, Basketball and Track and Field Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away.
Each year at UPEI, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the UPEI International Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the UPEI Alumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The UPEI Panther Athletes of the Week for January 27 to February 2, 2025, are Alaere Peterside (women鈥檚 track and field) and Jakob Robillard (men鈥檚 hockey).
UPEI will celebrate Black History Month 2025 with a variety of events, and activities, including the raising of the Pan-African flag at the flag plaza near Kelley Memorial Building on Monday, February 3, at 11:30 am.
