The PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games Host Society formally announced the 91福利在线你懂的 as a Bridge Builder partner at a sponsorship announcement on November 24. Island Coastal Services Ltd. and Irving Oil were also announced as sponsors of the event that will take place in February.

Dr. Aitazaz Farooque, interim associate dean of the UPEI School of Climate Change and Adaptation recently attended the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC), 鈥淐OP27.鈥� It was the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from November to 18, 2022, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Against the backdrop of St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, the Honourable Bill Blair, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, and the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay launched the National Adaptation Strategy at UPEI鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation on November 24.

UPEI celebrated the MacLauchlan Prizes for Effective Writing on Friday, November 18. This was the 11th year for the awards, but the 9th for an in-person celebration and the first one since 2019. The awards were presented to recipients, acknowledging their effective writing skills - a foundational skill for academic success and lifelong learning.

The UPEI Faculty of Education officially launched an Island-wide literacy and numeracy outreach project on Friday, November 18, 2022. The project is supported by a generous donation of $750,000 from Master Packaging.

In August, Dr. Dennis Makau (PhD 鈥�19) was honoured with the prestigious Wayne Martin International Symposium for Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics (ISVEE) Emerging Scientist Award at the sixteenth international symposium.
