The 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ has recently joined the 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ Without Borders (AWB) Network, and Dr. Ann Braithwaite, professor of Diversity and Social Justice Studies at UPEI, has been elected to the AWB board of directors.
In this campus and community message, Interim President Greg Keefe invites students, staff, faculty, retired employees, alumni, and community members to provide feedback on the preliminary draft of the UPEI Action Plan.
Dr. Edward MacDonald, professor of history at UPEI, was among 78 Canadians named to the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, on December 28, 2023.
The UPEI Panthers are looking forward to Minor Sports Weekend from January 5–7 when youth (ages 17 and under) wearing a jersey will be admitted free to any UPEI home game.
Once again this year, UPEI and the UPEI Alumni Association hosted a successful New Year's Day Levee with UPEI interim President and Vice-Chancellor Greg Keefe greeting over 400 levee-goers.

The UPEI Department of Development and Alumni Engagement asks people to consider supporting and inspiring students by contributing to the 2023–2024 UPEI Annual Fund by the end of this year. All gifts made before midnight on December 31 will receive a 2023 charitable tax receipt. The 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ thanks all those who have already given this year.
The 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ Board of Governors welcomes three new members for a three-year team: Kristi Kelly; Donald K. MacKenzie; and Dr. Ajay Sahajpal.
Dr. Greg Keefe, interim president and vice-chancellor of the 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ, issued a message to students, staff, and faculty in the lead up to the holiday break, which begins Friday.
The 91¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÄã¶®µÄ has created seven new positions in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Office, Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO), and Student Affairs. The seven positions are being funded by a combination of internal resources and new support from the Government of Prince Edward Island.
