UPEI has secured space at 155 Belvedere Avenue, Suite 202 (the former Island Coastal location) to house the Faculty of Medicine faculty and staff while the new Faculty of Medicine and Interprofessional Health Training Centre building is under construction at the north end of campus.

The inaugural Shannon K. Murray Lecture on Hope and the Academy, presented by Dr. Shannon Murray at UPEI on September 5, is airing on CBC Radio鈥檚 national program Ideas on Monday, November 13, at 8:00 pm.

The UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) recently collaborated with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help grant a wish for an Island child by assembling a wheelchair-accessible swing at his home in O鈥橪eary, PEI.

Dr. Christian Lacroix, professor and chair of the UPEI Department of Biology, took his Plant Community Ecology class to Basin Head on November 4 to study the unique mature grey dune system adjoining the beach.
