UPEI is committed to developing a new Harassment and Discrimination Policy and a revised Sexual Violence Policy, and has announced that the Review Committee has been struck.

UPEI鈥檚 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign was an unprecedented success, raising a total of $44,010 from 54 extremely generous donors on the Global Day of Philanthropy. An anonymous donor pledged to match Giving Tuesday donations up to $20,000, making it by far the largest year yet for UPEI. The donations will be dedicated to the University鈥檚 $15-million Robertson Library Revitalization campaign.

Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The UPEI Panther Athletes of the Week for January 13鈥�19, 2025, are Helena Ikpotokin (women鈥檚 track and field) and Daniel Gonzalez Longarela (men鈥檚 basketball).
