The UPEI Men's Soccer Panthers play their season home opener on Friday, August 29, against the Universit茅 de Moncton on UPEI鈥檚 Artificial Turf Field, at 7:30 pm.

The UPEI Women鈥檚 Soccer team takes on the Universit茅 de Moncton in their season home opener on Friday, August 29, on the Artificial Turf Field at 5:00 pm.

The Atlantic Veterinary College recently wrapped up five unforgettable weeks of summer camps, welcoming 240 enthusiastic campers from across the globe for the Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp.

Twenty-five participants in UPEI鈥檚 2025 Student Program for Research Engagement and Excellence (SPREE) will present their research posters on Wednesday, August 27, at 1:00 pm, in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The UPEI Foods and Nutrition program will host an Open House on Tuesday, September 9, from 4:30鈥�5:30 pm in the third-floor dining room of the Health Sciences Building, UPEI. All UPEI students are welcome and encouraged to attend!

During UPEI Welcome Week from September 1鈥�5, 2025, students will take part in a collaborative initiative titled 鈥淏ecoming Sustainable Panthers.鈥� 

Dr. Katie Koralesky, nominated by UPEI for a prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, has been awarded one of the 2024鈥�2025 fellowships, valued at $140,000 over two years.

UPEI鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation raised over $19,000 on Friday, August 15, at the second annual 鈥淲omen Leaders of Today Supporting Women Leaders of Tomorrow鈥� Nine-Hole Golf Social at Fox Meadow Golf Course in Stratford. The funds raised will directly benefit UPEI鈥檚 eight female varsity teams.

Inge Dorsey, recently retired coordinator of both the Bachelor of Integrated Studies and the University 100 programs, received a University Award for Exemplary Service at UPEI's annual Celebration of Colleagues on May 29, 2025.
