UPEI congratulates Dr. Margaret Magner on being named one of Atlantic Canada鈥檚 25 Most Powerful Women

鈥淥n behalf of UPEI, I congratulate Dr. Magner on achieving this recognition,鈥� said interim UPEI President Greg Keefe. 鈥淗er innovative work with the PEI Business Women鈥檚 Association, Atlantic Canada Women in Growth Partnership, PEI鈥檚 first business accelerator and start-up incubator for women, and many other initiatives is inspiring.鈥�
Magner is an award-winning playwright, sector champion on the provincial growth and recovery committee, governor of the National Theatre School of Canada, and founder of Magner Ink. She joins three other PEI recipients honoured this year: Cathy Rose, Martie Murphy, and Sherry Huang.
