Candidate for Faculty Position in Physiology
Dr. T. Dylan Olver is a candidate for a faculty positon in physiology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. He will also present a research seminar entitled 鈥淐ardiogenic dementia: isolating mechanisms using an integrative approach鈥� on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Lecture Theatre C, AVC at 10:00 am, as well as a lecture entitled 鈥淐ardiac electrophysiology: the beat goes on鈥� on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Lecture Theatre C, AVC at 2:30 pm.
Dr. Olver received his PhD in integrative physiology at the University of Western Ontario and is currently completing his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Missouri. Using translational animal models of human disease, his research connects molecular & patient perspectives towards understanding pathological adaptations that accelerate vascular and vas-neural functional health outcomes.
Faculty are also invited to meet with Dr. Olver from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 21 in the AVC Dean鈥檚 Boardroom.
